On March 17th and 18th, David visited Indiana Tech to speak with student-athletes from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). In his talk, All Things Are Possible with God, he shared how belief serves as the foundation for overcoming obstacles, unlocking hope, and building resilience in the face of adversity. Drawing from his own journey—both on and off the field—he encouraged students to trust in God’s plan and embrace the challenges that shape their character. His powerful message left a lasting impact, reinforcing the connection between faith, perseverance, and triumph.

On February 7th, David brought his signature Catch Your Moment keynote to St. Clare of Assisi-St. Francis Xavier School in the Bronx. Speaking to a packed auditorium of students, David emphasized the importance of discipline, destiny, and making strong decisions while pursuing their dreams. He also shared personal insights on overcoming challenges, drawing from his legendary “Helmet Catch” in Super Bowl XLII. The visit, made possible through the Inner-City Scholarship Fund, gave students the opportunity to engage with an inspiring message and view autographed memorabilia from Giants greats like Eli Manning and Dexter Lawrence.

At the American Christian School Chapel Service on January 8th, David gave a thought-provoking lecture focusing on the importance of truly knowing and loving Jesus. It was a special occasion, as David’s twin daughters, Sophia and Hannah, were in attendance. The lecture emphasized themes such as lukewarm faith, personal sin, and separation from God. He encouraged the audience to reflect on their personal faith journeys, highlighting the relationship between love, obedience, and holiness. This lecture was even more meaningful as David was recently accepted onto the school's board of directors.

A Shoe Mishap & Playing Like a Pro

At the recent HSS Pickleball Tournament, David made a memorable impression during the celebrity pro-am event that brought together athletes and celebrities for a great cause. Known for his unyielding spirit, David faced a hilarious moment when his shoe completely slipped off during the match. In true Tyree fashion, he was unfazed and played like a pro.

The Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), recognized as the No. 1 hospital in the nation for orthopedics and No. 3 for rheumatology by U.S. News & World Report, hosted this exciting tournament. David's participation not only showcased his athleticism but also highlighted the importance of health and wellness within the community.

At the MIT Sloan School of Management's Writing the Code: Second Chance Hiring event, the final panel, "Honest Perspectives: Lived Experiences on the Frontlines of Storytelling," brought on David to discuss the impact of hiring individuals with prior criminal records. The session explored how Second Chance Hiring can reshape workplaces by giving people a fresh start.
David shared his own journey and how second chances can change lives. The panel inspired a deeper understanding of the importance of fair chance hiring and its role in fostering diversity and inclusion.

It was truly an honor to bring Truth, Transparency, and Transformation to the University of Kentucky Football team through the captivating topic of "Resilience" and the invaluable lessons learned from the '07-'08 Super Bowl run. The opportunity to communicate these essential qualities to the team was incredibly rewarding. Together, we embraced the spirit of resilience, enabling the players to overcome challenges and grow both as athletes and individuals, ultimately creating a stronger and more united team.

Speaking at the Chicago Bulls was certainly an incredible experience! Entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and corporations attended to listen to my keynote, Elevate Integrity. The focal point of this talk emphasizes self-awareness as the "superpower" that will position you to flourish in any environment or organization. We all want to sustain success, and it was a pleasure sharing my insight on how to do just that.
